Shipping and Delivery Guidelines
Shipping
It is important to us that our products arrive at their destination in the same condition that they leave our facility. During the cooler months of the year, our products can generally be shipped via ground or 2nd day air for minimal expense. During warmer months, the products will need to be shipped via overnight or 2nd day air, unless your shipping destination is within 2 day transit via ground shipping.
Summer Shipping: During the months of May through September, it is necessary to use special insulated packaging on our products to ensure that they withstand the heat of summer. There is an extra $8 charge added to shipping prices during these summer months to help defer the extra expense. This additional charge is included in all shipping rates during these months.
FedEx does not ship to P.O. boxes so we will need a street address to deliver a package. If there is a suite number, apartment number, or building number, please include that on the order form. We cannot be held responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to wrong address or missing information. We highly recommend that someone be home to accept the package or that you have it shipped to a workplace or office. If you are shipping to a warm climate and the recipient is not home, our chocolates products will not be able to last another day of being on the FedEx delivery vehicle, so it is best to make sure the recipient knows that they are on the way. The insulated boxes will protect the products if they are out for a few hours on a doorstep. When in doubt, we recommend not shipping our chocolate products.
We are also unable to ship to destinations outside of the United States or to APO/FPO addresses. Orders going to Alaska and Hawaii will have additional shipping charges applied – please call us for details. We will not be held responsible for delays caused by weather, mechanical failure or other acts beyond our control.
Please note that all pricing is subject to change, depending on time of year as well as weight and location.
We generally ship all orders Monday through Wednesday and sometimes on Thursdays via Overnight. Due to the perishability and delicate nature or our products, we don’t allow more than 2 days of transit time. We will generally not ship a package over the weekend, where it would sit in a FedEx warehouse for an extended period, unless weather permits. Orders are shipped in the order they are received and usually ship within 48 hours of being received, unless otherwise specified. If you need special shipping instructions, such as Saturday delivery, or a specified delivery date, there is a “order comments” box on the order review page where you can specify this information. Please note there may be additional charges for these services. Also, feel free to call us at 916-638-8949 and we will do whatever we can to accommodate your request.

The Greater Sacramento Area includes Antelope, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Granite Bay, Rancho Cordova, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento and West Sacramento.
